Actor Ryinku Singh Nikumbh, best known for sharing the screen in the film Dream Girl with Ayushmann Khurrana, died on Wednesday due to Covid (19 complications).
Speaking to BollywoodLife, her cousin Chanda Singh Nikumbh said: “She gave a positive on May 25 and was isolated from home. As the fever did not go down, we decided to move to the hospital after a few days. At the hospital, doctors did not feel the need for an ICU bed and was initially in a normal COVID Ward. The next day, they moved to the ICU. He was also healing well in the ICU, until the day he disappeared. Eventually, he was losing hope and unable to survive. He also had asthma. “
Born in Tezpur (Assam), Ryinku Singh Nikumbh made his Chidiyaghar TV series debut. He has also appeared in films such as Ryinku Tera Kya Hoga Alia, Meri Haanikarak Biwi, Ichhapyaari Naagin, Shrimaan Shrimati Phir Se, Mariam Khan – Reporting Live, among others.
Her first Bollywood film was Dream Girl with Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrratt Bharuccha. He also starred in the Hello Charlie film released on Amazon Prime Video earlier this year.
Ryinku Singh Nikumbh was last seen in Dhadkan on Sony TV, playing the role of a nurse who is condemned for his appearance.
