As Covid-19 cases have been steadily falling in recent weeks, Lockdown restrictions have eased in several parts of India, including Maharashtra. Many production houses have now begun to figure out how to recover the shoots following new strategies.
Indianexpress.com has learned that Alia Bhatt will start filming Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi from next week. In addition to star Alia Bhatt, several other films will resume work from June 15th.
A source told us, “Alia was filming for the film before SLB gave a positive Covid-19. After recovering, Alias caught the virus. After recovering he would start firing. However, when the second wave of the pandemic began, a new blockade was announced in mid-April and the firing of Gangubai Kathiawadi had to be stopped. “
The source added, “Alias and SLB have held a meeting and discussed the way forward, and will mostly resume shooting from Monday to Tuesday, next week.” They were seen visiting the director’s office in Alia on Thursday.
Alia’s Gangubai will premiere on July 30th. However, given the delay in collecting the film, those in charge of the film are considering reorganizing the film’s release plan.
Actor Varun Dhawan will also recover his Bhediya. On Thursday, the film’s team confirmed that the actor will start shooting the film from June 26 in Arunachal Pradesh.
Varun, who was filming Amar Kaushik’s Bhediya until mid-April, returned to Mumbai as soon as the closure of the city was announced. The actor previously spoke about filming in the middle of the pandemic, “Shooting a film during a pandemic has been very challenging, but working under the direction of Amar Kaushik has been one of the most rewarding and rewarding experiences for me. Amar bhai chalo khelte hain. He was fortunate to be shot in a town without Covidi like Cyrus of Arunachal Pradesh. “
Amar Kaushik directs Kriti Sanon and Abhish directs Bhediya starring Banerjee. The film is set to release on April 14 next year.
A couple of days ago, lead actress Amitabh Bachchan also announced on her blog that she will soon start filming GoodBye. He wrote: “My entire filming unit, which will soon start working on my GoodBye film, has all been vaccinated by the production, and there are measures to be taken to maintain prevention. Each room is cleaned after each short break and those who report work enter the studio they are tested beforehand .. and every other day random tests are done; the infected ones are blocked and sent home or to the Hospital immediately “.
Goodbye, bought by Vikas Bahl, also stars Rashmika Mandanna.
When the second wave of the Covid-19 Pandemic hit the country in March, Maharashtran cinema and television films came to a halt. Now that the state is seeing a decline in the number of new coronavirus cases, the government has decided to allow production houses to continue filming, but certain protocols have been put in place, including time and public restrictions. Shooting activities will be conducted in a safety bubble and no outside shooting will be possible from 5 p.m. The new guidelines prohibit filming with large group and crowded sequences.
