Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor are receiving rave reviews for their performance in Dibakar Banerjee’s latest film. Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. Although the film premiered in theaters on March 19, it has lived on since it recently premiered on Amazon Prime Video. In an interview with Indianexpress.com, Arjun and Parineetik looked at the film’s origins and how Dibakar managed to get the best out of it.
As viewers, we’ve seen many other films by these actors and to give them credit where they are needed, it’s certainly one of the best screenings we’ve seen of the two stars. Kapoor echoed the statement and said, “I’m still the same actor who makes these other films, but every film has a different director.” He added from Parine that other directors who work have very little to say when it comes to giving instructions to an actor. “They will say thoda energy up kar do (increased energy), they’ll give you that at the most, “he shared. Arjun explained his best when he said,” It seemed like the kids were doing theater. It never felt like it was going to happen. It was fun, it paid off. “
Arjun worked on the process behind it to bring Pinky to the screen. Pinky doesn’t use her words so much, but rather allows silence to speak. Arjun shared that Dibakar highlighted these silences even more in the editing phase. Speaking of the scene where Pinky changes her mind about leaving Pinky behind and leaving for Nepal, Arjun said that Arjun “gave me a different way of thinking” in every take-it-or-leave-it. He added: “That’s funny with Mr. Dibakar. He doesn’t always talk about shooting. He’ll tell you something about Pinky, something about Sandeep, something that comes to mind. Never tell me directly what the next scene or scene is.”
Arjun shared that they spent three months preparing this character and that “the payoffs are in silence.” “I’ve had some girlfriends, my childhood, why I have these ordinary conversations about having problems with emotion, it’s gotten into certain things. Now that I look back, it’s the process that brought these close-ups to life. It told us a lot about the character without telling the scene,” she added. Arjunek.
He recounted his experience of filming from Parine with Dibakar Banerjee and described him as a “chameleon”. “They’re going to direct different actors, depending on the people. With me, we would discuss it for hours. I’ve never fought so much with a director, ”he shared.
Speaking of his academic career from Parine, he confirmed that the questioning career works best as an interpreter. “I have a very academic attitude, so a lot of questions work for me, once I get clarity, I can give it faster. I’ve also worked with other directors and that process doesn’t work with them. They’re not dealing with that issue. Long story short, Single the ability of the gentleman to adapt to each actor has brought out the best in each actor, ”he shared from Parine.
In addition to Parineeti and Arjun, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar has acclaimed performances by Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav and Jaideep Ahlawat.
