Aston Martin has created a time clock with the film ‘Flying Bridges’

Aston Martin has made a version of the wristwatch. The British luxury sports car manufacturer has partnered with Swiss watchmaker Girard-Perregaux to make a luxury watch called the Tourbillon with three bridge wings. This model dates back to the 19th century. It is a contemporary that bears the iconic pocket watch of the Three Bridges of the Century.

This is a five-degree titanium clock skeleton, a hypoallergenic alloy selected by the automaker, which gives the watch a good-looking look. The design of the straps is inspired by the Aston Martin race cars of the past. The sapphire crystal box is placed on the front and back of the house to make it easier to read as the lights illuminate the inside of the case.

The three Bridges, Girard-Perregaux’s iconic signature, are made of Titanium and help to turn the scoreboard. The luxury watchmaker has created an inner movement of the watch so that the inner components together look like levitation and hence the name ‘Flying Bridges’. The Tourbillon cage with a diameter of 10 mm in the sea is made up of 79 components and weighs 0.25 grams collectively.

Patrick Pruniaux, CEO of Girard-Perregaux, said the partnership with Aston Martin is a pure pleasure. “We are pleased to be collaborating with Aston Martin, giving our team probably our most iconic watch, offering a new perspective on Haute Horlogerie. We rarely work with others to reinterpret the Three Bridges, however this time we have made an exception, Aston Martin’s design considering skill, ”they said in a press release.

Aston Martin Marek Reichman, deputy director and chief creative officer, said the challenge is the ethics of Aston Martin’s engineering and that Girard-Perregaux has been designing Excellence for 230 years. “Yes, a good design is a good design, be it a watch or a car, the principles are the same. I am happy with the finished watch and congratulations to all of you who have worked on this project. This collaboration has created a beautiful beauty watch,” he added.

The limited edition Tourbillon with three flying bridges consists of only 18 pieces and can be carried worldwide at all authorized Girard-Perregaux outlets.
