The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has launched an investigation into a Mohammedan Sporting Club practice session to investigate the Bubble biosecurity breach in Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier Division T20. Gaia (BCB) and the Dhaka Metropolitan Cricket Committee (CCDM) have won the attention. According to the commission, BCB and CCDM have taken the issue very seriously and the investigation has begun. “We are disappointed to be aware of these events. CCDM and BCB have taken this very seriously. The health and safety of our teams, players and officials are important to us,” CCDM President Kazi Inam Ahmed said in an official statement.
“They said we have invested a lot of financial and effort to keep the BSE protocols in place, including the best possible accommodation and logistics.”
“This incident is being investigated and further necessary actions and preventive measures will be taken,” he added.
According to a report published on ESPNcricinfo, the incident occurred when skipper Shakib Al Hasan was practicing at Shere Bangla National Stadium and an outsider entered the venue.
Last week, BCB president Nazmul Hassan said he sees no “chance” for former skipper Shakib to play in the re-scheduled 2021 Indian Premier League (IPL).
The head of the BCB has mentioned the busy agenda in Bangladesh and the T20 World Cup that are scheduled to take place in India in October, for reasons against the general Shakib KKR, which is the reason why the IPL management did not receive the Objection Certificate (NOC).
