The India team held its first training session in Southampton as they were preparing for the World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand, which was scheduled to start on 18 June. The India team has just completed the quarantine of its mandatory hotel at Team Ageas Bowl Stadium. looking to move forward as soon as preparations are expected. The Indian Cricket Control Committee (BCCI) took to Twitter on Thursday to share a video of Team India’s first team training session and headlines: “We did the first team training session and the intensity has been great #TeamIndia #WTC21 are in full swing for the final” .

In the video, they saw Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant and Ravichandran Ashwin as they were sweating out before the WTC final.
The WTC final will start on June 18 and will be at The Ageas Bowl in Southampton on June 23 to be reserved as a reservation day.
The Indian players arrived in England on June 3 and completed a tough three-day quarantine at the WTC final venue – The Ageas Bowl.
After the WTC final, India will also face England in a five-match Test series.
New Zealand will be able to adapt to the conditions, as they are playing a two-match Test series against England.
Meanwhile, Indian Cricketers have not had much game practice since they postponed the 2021 Indian Premier League (IPL) last month.
