BTS made its first international appearance after the release of the final track Permission To Dance. The Bangtan boys, made up of Jimin, J-Hope, V, RM, Jin, Suga and Jungkook, appeared on Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show and answered many of his questions. Several revelations were made about V’s sleeping preferences, ARMY’s original name, as well as cooking and fashion options.
Host Jimmy Fallon asked them about the various rumors that have been circulating. He asked, “Is it true that instead of calling your fans ARMY, you would have originally called him BELL?”
RM explained, “It’s true. When you say BTS it means Bangtan in Korean not behind it, I mean for your information. When you say bell in Korean it sounds like Bang, so bang starts with the same word … Thank God … ARMY it’s much better. “
Jimmy then asked V if it was true that he never intended to test for BTS. “Is it true that you never intended to take BTS tests? Did you go to the audition to help your friend? V said, ‘True, yes.’ Jimmy then asked, ‘What happened to your friend?'” And V replied, he did … V. only “
We also found out that Jimin wanted to go with the stage name Baby-J. He replied, “So I had the choice of Baby J and Baby G, but when I thought of saying ‘Hello, I’m a baby’ it seemed very strange, so I decided to keep my real name.” Jimmy also teased Jimin by going with the stage name ‘Jimin Fallon’, and Jimin said, “So starting next, I’m going to act like Jimin Fallon”.
During the interview, Suga revealed that the first CD she ever bought was Eminem. Sugar replied, “They were about fifteen or sixteen years ago and I really liked his music. There were no translations of the letters then, so I could not understand what the letters were about; so apparently my parents were fine because they couldn’t understand what the letters were saying. So they said it was okay. “
The boys are at the top right now, the Butter song continues to dominate Billboard’s Hot 100.
