David Warner, known for his hilarious videos and posts on social media, created a face-to-face video exchange on Friday in which he put his face above Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff. Warner used a snippet from a song from the movie ‘The Year of the Year 2’ and shared the video on Instagram. “Back to the popular demand #whoami #india #song,” Warner put the title of the video. Not only did Warner’s posts leave fans divided, it also attracted the reaction of former teammate Brett Lee.
The former Australian bowler was unable to laugh after watching the video and posted it in the Laughing emojis comments section.
Warner’s wife Candice also reacted to the video by posting heart emojis.
Warner, who was last seen in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2021, reunited with his family after spending almost a month in solitary confinement after delaying the 14th edition of the T20 league.
Before the IPL was postponed, Warner lost captain and place in the SunRisers Hyderabad camp after the team had a bad start to the tournament.
SRH lost five of their first six games this season and decided to hand over the franchise to New Zealand captain Kane Williamson Midway through the tournament.
Warner’s next work will be a tour of the West Indies. The left-hander, along with Steve Smith and Mitchell Starc, was named to the 23-man team last month.
Australia will play Twenty20 International and three five-day Internationals in the Caribbean next month.
