Indian Wicket goalkeeper Dinesh Karthik is in Belgrade these days, on his way to the World Test final and on his way to comment on the ‘One Hundred’ tournament. Karthik shared a photo on his Twitter handle with the legendary Indian bat Sunil Gavaskar, “Lunch date legend!” Under the title. While the publication is two days away, Kolkata Knight Riders re-released it on Thursday. Official media outlets in England and Wales (ECB) have signed up for Karthik to comment on the ‘The Hundred’ pet project. The initial edition of the tournament will be played from July 22 to August 21. Before attempting a “hundred”, Karthik will be a member of the commentary panel in the first historic final of the World Test Championship. He played between India and New Zealand from 18 to 22 June in Southampton.
The wicket-keeper has been released from solitary confinement in the Serbian capital, Belgrade, along with Sunil Gavaskar. Now, they will travel to Southampton for the WTC Finals.
Previously, he was also a member of the series of commentary series made by the white Indian pelota player against England, but he did it from home and this time he will do it from the ground.
After the ‘The Hundred’ tournament, the 34-year-old will travel to the United Arab Emirates for work in the second phase of the Indian Premier League from 19 September.
He averaged 123 races with 30.75 points in seven games he played in the first phase of the 2021 IPL. KKR lost five of the first seven games and to qualify and have faith in their hands the team must win six of the next seven games.
