England have been heavily charged after UEFA clash with Wembley fans Football news



The European football organization accused UEFA on Tuesday of four different offenses related to the bad behavior of fans in the Euro 2020 final between England and Italy. Italy ended England’s dream of winning the 2020 Euro here on Sunday at Wembley Stadium (local time). Prior to the Wembley match, fans engaged in clashes and some even tried to enter Wembley Stadium without tickets. After the match, a fight also broke out between the fans inside and around the stadium.

“Disciplinary proceedings have been opened after the last UEFA EURO 2020 match between the Italian and English national teams (1-1, Italy won 3-2 on penalties), which was played on 11 July at Wembley Stadium in London,” UEFA said in a statement.

In its statement, UEFA added: “The case will be dealt with by the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body (CEDB) in due course. to conduct disciplinary investigations into the events of the assistants “.
