Although the design patent is an interesting development, it does not necessarily guarantee the launch of the bike. Honda has also patented Grom (Monkey bike) in the past in India. Although the CRF300L is being considered for India, it will not be installed soon. The waste would be aimed at at least the price range 3 lakh 4 lakh (former showcase) and the market may not be available at present to distribute this amount.
