Jubin Nautiyal’s latest romantic single “Barsaat ki dhun” was released on Tuesday with actors Gurmeet Choudhary and Karishma Sharma. The song, inspired by the romantic number Kumar Sanu from the 1993 film “Sir”, was written by Rashmi Virag and composed by Rochak Kohli. “Barsaat ki dhun is a track you can hear when you have a coffee or drive in a car. From its lyrics, Melody, to the music video it makes you feel nostalgic and makes sense. Warmth and love,” Jubin said.
Over the years, we have seen many love stories on screen that have left a mark on everyone’s heart. In the film Barsaat Ki Dhun directed by Ashsa Panda, Gurmeet Choudhary and Karishma Sharma recreate some iconic love stories that pay homage to classic romantic films like Romeo and Juliet, Awaara, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, The Notebook, Aashiqui 2.
“This is my second collaboration with Jubin after ‘Bedardi se Pyaar ka’ and I really enjoyed watching the music video, which captures the essence of the Monsoon season. I hope the audience enjoys our first track as much as our ‘Barsaat ki dhun’,” of Gurmeet.
“The ‘Barsaat ki dhun’ sessions had a classic old-fashioned charm. You can’t go wrong with Jubin Nautiyal’s voice. Gurmeet and I worked hard to do justice to this beautiful song. I’m sure the audience will like it,” Karishma added.
