LEGO has teamed up with Lamborghini to create a life-size replica of the Sian FKP 37 sports car using more than 4,000,000 pieces, including 20 specially developed to build the replica. The 1: 1 model of the Sian FKP 37 was launched last year when a 1: 8 scale replica of the Lamborghini sports car was introduced. The little brother was made using 3,696 LEGO pieces.
The life-size LEGO model includes all the details of the original limited edition Italian super sports car, as well as the actual physical dimensions of the Sian. To ensure that the smallest details fit, more than 154 types of LEGO items have been used.
The structure of the replica is covered with an intricate fabric made up of interconnected LEGO Technic hexagonal elements, forming an energy-charged shell on top of the vehicle. This pays homage to Sian FKP 37’s iconic hexagonal rear lights and exhaust form.

The lights and elegant lightning that shine through the body of the replica reflect how the epsilon headlights and hexagonal tails of the real model light up and down. The cockpit is defined by a brick steering wheel decorated with the Lamborghini symbol and the Italian flag, the dashboard controls and the race seats.
The life-size replica exterior paint – lime green – matches the smaller 1: 8 scale model. This life-size LEGO model is also the first to receive a UV-colored coating with a brush effect, which will ensure that the model will last a lifetime. The 1: 1 LEGO model is the result of an 8,660-hour development and construction effort by a group of 15 people.
The life-size LEGO model of the Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 has been rebuilt in a virtual LEGO workshop. Although not built for sale, it allows super car enthusiasts to learn the details used in the 1: 8 mockup.
