The Mahindra Group announced on Friday that Pratap Bose has been appointed as the new executive chairman and chief design officer to head the newly created Global Design organization. He was vice president of Global Design at Bose Tata Motors before resigning in late April.
Bos has a long-standing relationship with Tata Motors for 14 years and is often recognized as the brainchild of the company’s new generation vehicle design language. In his new role, he would be in charge of Mahindra Advanced Design Europe (MADE) at Coventry in the UK and the existing Mahindra India Design Studio (MIDS). Mahindra said in a press release that it will oversee the design of important business segments, such as real SUVs such as Born Electric Vehicle (BEV) and LCV products.
