Seher Aly Latif, best known for creating Swara Bhasker’s Netflix Bhaag Beanie Bhaag and working as a Casting Director for films like Lunchbox and Monsoon Shootout, passed away on Monday after a cardiac arrest. The 40-year-old producer took his last breath at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai and was admitted due to kidney failure.

He was the executive producer of Aunts of Akshay Kumar’s Gold, Shakuntala Devi and Noblemen directed by Vidya Balan.
His first production was Rcheh Batra Lunchbox director Masterchef Beaded’s short film for Sundance Institute. In 2016, he and producer Shivani Saran created Mutant Films, a Netflix film that has so far produced Mask and Bhaag by Bani Bhaag.
