Poco was supposed to launch the first pair of TWS last year, but that never happened. It looks like it’s launching this year, and Redmi AirDots 3 Pro would be the new name. It is little known that the Redmi phone brings its brand in markets like India but nothing has been confirmed yet on the TWS front.
This new speculation comes from a list of Bluetooth GIS that suggests that the Redmi AirDots 3 Pro will launch as “Poco Pop Buds”. It is listed along with Redmi AirDots 3 Pro and Redmi Buds 3 Pro with the same model number TWSEJ01ZM. The list He also proposes one called Redmi Buds 3 Pro. Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi AirDots 3 Pro in China last week, and has yet to announce it for other markets.
As for Poco Pop Buds, Poco only confirmed the name of the product it launched last year. The launch did not happen. In an interview with Hindustan Times Tech, Indian Country Director Anuj Sharma Poco said: “We thought we would really make wireless headphones. That’s been learning a lot. Because it’s not so easy to get what we wanted. We wanted a high quality and good sounding device. “We worked with different partners to get ahead. We had two prototypes, but neither of them really impressed us. Our first phone plus the launch and if it doesn’t deliver, that will put us in a place.”
