Actress Shefali Shah, who took the “Delhi Crime” Emmy Award-winning International Series to the next level, revealed that she has refused to star in successful Bollywood films such as “Kidney” and “Kapoor and Sons”. Meanwhile, in the professional field, Shefali Ayushmann has joined Khurrana-Rakul Preet Singh’s ‘Doctor G’ cast. Dr. Nandini will try the role of a senior doctor. While Ayushmann will play the role of Dr. Uday Gupta, he will be seen as Dr. Rakul Fatima, a medical student in the next film. It is directed by debutant director Anubhuti Kashyap. For the first time, Ayushmann, Rakul and Shefali will share the screen space, which has piqued the curiosity of the audience.
Not only ‘Doctor G’, Shefali will also be seen in the film ‘Darlings’ where she will share screen space with Alia Bhatt and Vijay Varma. It also features Vipul Shah’s ‘Human’ and Netflix’s ‘Delhi Crime 2’, the second part of the film ‘Delhi Crime’.
The first season of ‘Delhi Crime’ won the Best Drama Series at the International Emmy Awards last year. Recently, Shefali’s directorial debut project ‘Someday’ was selected for the 51st International Short Film and Video Competition at the 51st Annual US Film Festival.
