American singer Halsey and her boyfriend Alev Aydin have welcomed their first child together. The “without me” star announced on Instagram on Monday that her baby was born last week and named Ender Ridley Aydin. Halsey, however, did not reveal the gender of the newborn.
“Thank you. The birth was ‘strange’ and euphoric. Driven by love,” the 26-year-old singer wrote along with black-and-white photos of the baby next to Aydin.
Halsey announced her pregnancy in January.
Halsey posted three photos on Instagram, in which she is seen embodying her baby. In the first photo, she is seen wearing a multi-colored crochet brimette. In other photos she is wearing her jeans.
The singer was pictured with the title “Surprise” with a milk bottle, rainbow and baby-faced emojis.

The singer previously had an abortion and opened up about it in an interview with The Guardian in February 2020.
“I’m getting this out of control life here, and I can’t do the only thing that has put me biologically on this earth. So should I go on stage and be this sex symbol of femininity and empowerment? Is it demoralizing,” Halsey said.
