Australian show seller Jamie Kermond was temporarily suspended on Wednesday after the Tokyo Olympics tested positive for cocaine, team officials said. The 36-year-old returned a positive sample of a cocaine metabolite on June 26 after a test by Sport Integrity Australia. “Mr Kermond is prohibited from participating in any WADA-compliant event, including the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, while the temporary suspension is in effect,” Equestrian Australia said in a statement.

Under Australia’s anti-doping policy, they now have the opportunity to study their B sample.

According to Australian reports, Kermond did not travel with the rest of the crew when they flew to Tokyo on Tuesday.
